Many SCAD students and parents are choosing to buy a condo rather than renting while attending the Savannah College of Art and Design. Deciding to buy can prove to be a wise investment, particularly in this “buyers market”.  Since the SCAD campus is scattered throughout the Historic and Victorian Districtsstudents can often walk to class.

The Historic and Victorian Districts in Savannah, Georgia have seen a huge growth in condo conversions in recent years.  Many large Victorian homes and townhomes have been converted into beautiful condos, keeping the original architectural details yet adding the modern kitchen and bathroom upgrades we’ve come to expect these days.
